So this past weekend, Sarah the student here for NZ came to ski at my cottage. We were talking about accents and I told her I could not tell the difference between an Australian and a NZ accent.
Bad idea.
Apparently this is the equivalent of calling a Canadian an American. Definitely won't make that mistake again!
Watch Flight of the Conchords... you'll pick-up the New Zealand accent, plus the show is AMAZING!! Hahaha
